Engineering Question

Cornell requires four units of math to be taken (2 of algebra, 1 of geometry, 1 of calculus). I will only be taking half a term of calculus in my senior year, so I was wondering if this would satisfy the requirement?

My assumption is that you will get half a year of differential calculus. In this case, you would begin with Math 1910, which starts off with integral calculus.

I took AP AB Calculus, and it wasn’t enough to get out of the requirement. AP BC Calculus should be enough to skip Math 1910.

So to answer your question, no, half a term will not be enough to exempt you from anything. Math 1910 is the start of the math track for engineers. However, if my initial assumption is wrong, let me know.
