Engineering Ranking 2007 USNEWS

The following is from USNEWS 2007 rankings for top Engineernig Schools.
This is for Graduate schools, however my understanding is that USC uses the same labs and professors for Graduate and Undergrad studies, so there has to be some overlap. Granted, there are differences between Undergrad, and Graduate degrees, the classes taken, and work involved. Nonetheless, I am impressed with USC’s latest ranking. Fight On!

Rankings were based on:

Overall Score
Peer assessment score
Recruiter assessment score
average quantitative GRE score
acceptance rate
Ph.D. students/ faculty
faculty membership in Natl. Academy of Engineering
engineering school research expenditures (in millions)
research expenditures per faculty member (in thousands)
Ph.D.'s granted
total graduate engineering enrollment

Rankings were for GRADUATE schools.

Dragon - Yes, that was the second sentence within my first post above. I doubt that USC employs an entirely separate set of Professors for Undergrad and Graduate classes. Also, there are only so many Engineering buildings and labs at USC. I would venture to guess that Undergrads work in the same buildings, and same labs, as Grad students. I conceded, in my first post, that there are surely differences in the Graduate degree program and Undergraduate program. However, there is surely some overlap: Profs, Buildings, Labs, 'some' of the Research work, etc.

I stand corrected...did not see that in your first post.

Ouch...uhhh, we fell from 7th last year...well, still top 10 and above this:

:D

Wow...USC is above CalTech.

Yeah...as an undergrad in Viterbi....we share faculty and facilities with grad students. Obviously, the grad students are much more involved with research, etc... but there definitely is a correlation.
