<p>I'm thinking about FIT, and wonder if anyone might give me a perspective on the dropout rate for mech engineering students. I'm an above ave (3.5 GPA private school), but not stellar, student in HS. SAT Math 630. I want to know if I have what it takes to be successful. It's an expensive school to end up flunking out. I know I couldn't make it at MIT, but do I have a chance here?</p>

<p>I'd also like to hear if current students enjoy the curriculum.</p>

<p>I went so many years ago that I can't answer your questions about current curriculum or enjoyability, but I can say that your stats are well suited to FIT. Based on those, you should have quite good chances for successfully completing an engineering degree there.</p>
