I was recently awarded an Engineering Scholarship of honor (I'm OOS, so this is worth $20,000 a year). I am very grateful for the scholarship, but finances are very important to my family, and I won't be receiving any need-based aid. So, I was wondering, does anyone know if this scholarship is a cut-off? Or, would it be possible for me to combine it with other scholarships (such as Shipman or Geisinger) if I happened to be chosen for them? I know my chances for any other scholarships are slim to none, but I'm just wondering if this is even a possibility.

Congrats!!! I don’t know the answer to your question, but wondering how you were notified and do you mind sharing your stats? I would think it could be combined with other need based aid if nothing else…

I received a letter in the mail yesterday from the college of engineering! Otherwise I haven’t gotten an email or seen anything on Wolverine Access.

Like I said, I’m OOS. 2340 SAT (800 Math, 800 CR, 740 W), 35 ACT, 4.0 GPA UW, 800 Math II, 680 Physics.
Class President, Editor-in-Chief of school newspaper, Technology Internship, among other EC’s.

Fabulous stats… well deserved!

Congrats and well done… that brings you down into in-state costs!
