engineering school question

first let me start off by saying my first choice was UF for engineering. I didnt get in as an OOS, so now i plan on going to FSU. I was wondering how the engineering campus is and if its a big hassle to get there. I also have worries about the quality of education because it is not listed on any rankings for engineering.

FSU engineering is a partnership with FAMU. You have to take a bus (or drive/bike) to get to the engineering campus. They have a cool electromagnet labratory, but I personally would not reccommend going there for engineering. You should apply to USF. They have great engineering programs. Another choice would be UCF, but I don't really like that school in general. What type of engineering are you planning on doing?

right now im interested in electrical engineering but that could change

FSU does share the College of Engineering with FAMU, an HBCU also in Tallahassee. While I personally think each university should have their own engineering program for the moment they are in partnership.

I suggest you visit FSU and the COE, speak with the faculty and students and see for yourself. Also check out the myriad other FSU programs.

Try UCF, their engineering program is one of the best in Florida.
