<p>Well you should apply to where you want to go. It is far easier to go from COE to LnS, so take that into consideration. I have no idea how much more difficult it is to get into COE, but I think it depends on the major.</p>
<p>I would just apply to the major you are interested in, but to answer your question, yes it is a little bit more difficult to get into the COE.</p>
