<p>Hi. I got in college of engineering for UIUC, Penn State, and Purdue. I am waiting for word from UMICH. My first choices are UIUC or UMICH. I'm wondering if i got in UMICH, which school i should go to. My major for UIUC is mech eng while UMICH was aerospace eng. Thanks.</p>
<p>Where do u live? If ur close enough to both schools, I would suggest visiting, since academically, UIUC and UMICH are practically equal in engineering. It comes down to where you'll feel more comfortable.</p>
<p>I'm in New Jersey. I visited both schools and liked them both. However, i think i have a slim chance of getting in UMICH engineering.</p>

<p>I suggest, if you get accepted to both, to go to Michigan. Michigan is known for its general excellence, whereas UIUC comparatively is not.</p>
