<p>I am searching for engineering schools in the east coast, preferably close to Northern Virginia. So far, I am applying to Virginia Tech, GMU and VCU (safety) . are there any good public engineering schools or private ones that offer good aid/scholorhips?</p>

<p>Try Carnegie-Mellon in Pittsburgh, too.</p>

<p>Check out Clemson U in S Carolina. Public university with good engineering program and good merit aid (even for OOS students), if you have the stats.</p>
