:-S I need a list of engineering schools that are on the Common App

Most engineering schools are on the Common App. Would you like to give us some information about location, SAT/ACT scores, GPA, size, etc. that would help us create a list?

I’m waiting for SAT & ACT scores, but my GPA is a 4.0 and I’m looking for a medium sized school.

Where do you live? Do you care what region you go to school in? What classes are you taking? Have you taken any APs? It’s kind of hard to know what schools you should be applying to without knowing your ACT/SAT scores (or at the very least your PSAT scores). I’m assuming you’re a junior (or younger)?

I do not care about the region, I’m taking & I’ve taken classes that I’ll need for engineering, AP Stat, Pre-Calc…etc & I know that. I’m not applying at this moment, I just want to know which schools on the app provide engineering majors. My scores come in next week.

As a preliminary list (with no particular order or reason), here are some schools you should look at, and then reevaluate once you find out what your scores are:

Purdue University
Carnegie Mellon
GA Tech
University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign
Cornell University
Bucknell University
USC
SUNY Stony Brook
SUNY Buffalo
Rice University
RPI
Johns Hopkins

There are some other great engineering schools, but they may be too small or too big, depending on your preferences. This is a decent list of starting schools though.
