I'm doing this primarily to get recommendations for engineering/science schools. THANKS :)

POSSIBLE APPLYING TO LIST (all out-of-state)

I’m just telling u now, UCB and UCLA are VERY difficult to get into OOS, even with those stats. And Caltech, Stanford, and Harvey Mudd are difficult to get into, period. I think you have a decent shot at UCB and UCLA, but you definitely shouldn’t rely on those colleges. Apply to some safeties.

How about the Colorado School of Mines for engineering schools? Strictly an engineering school with some business/economics. It doesn’t even make you take english and history classes. Near 100% placement rate and widely considered one of the best engineering schools in the country. Especially if you are envinromentally minded. Not to mention 95% of the professors have their phd and actually teach the classes, it has only 3600 undergrads which is always good, and it is at the foothills of the rocky mountains about 15 minutes from Denver. It is also public which keeps the prices down some although all good schools are fairly expensive. Great school though, give it a look.

You definitely have the stats for these schools, definitely apply to some safties. Take a look at Franklin Olin, probably the best engineering school in the country.
