Engineering schools with good quality of life

<p>Definitely USC. Except right around midterm time, it is possible to keep a balanced study/social life.</p>

<p>Well, but getting off-campus to do fun stuff can be a bit tricky w/o a car, cuz public transportation kinda sux here.</p>

<p>Cornell, Michigan, Stanford and UT-Austin come to mind. Great college atmospheres, excellent Engineering schools, great college towns. But as you can expect, they are very intense academically.</p>
