A few weeks ago I was admitted to sixth college as my first choice major--Engineering science! I sort of picked this major randomly when I filled out the application (it looked interesting, i love both engineering and science) but after I got in, I tried looking at UCSD's website and collegeboard to find out more about it, but I didn't find much. Does anyone know anything about this major at UCSD (what's it like, how hard are the classes, how flexible is it...etc)???

It looks pretty similar to the Mechanical Engineering curriculum. I think they just substituted a couple of technical electives in for a few classes. So it’s probably not much easier than Mechanical, but it looks like it’s pretty flexible because there’s 5 or 6 technical electives. Here’s a link to the description and curriculum plan if you haven’t seen it.

[Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE)](http://www.ucsd.edu/catalog/curric/MAE.html#ugrad)

cool thanks
