Engineering Study Abroad like Programs

University of Connecticut is part of the Global E3 program, and has a 5-year EuroTech program (BA in German and BS in Engineering, one year or semester is spent abroad)

University of Rhode Island has the International Engineering Program (IEP) which is similar to EuroTech except, you have the option to study Italian, French, Chinese, and a few other languages

What other schools have international engineering programs like the ones I've listed above?

MIT and Cambridge have one (with each other). Going to places other than Cambridge is more difficult for an MIT student to figure out. I’m not sure if all of the engineering majors are allowed to do the program, but most are. It’s very easy for an MIT student to spend the summer abroad in many countries.

SUNY Binghamton and Istanbul Technical University have one. Might be only for Turkish students, I’m not sure.

Apply to Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as an international student. If you are admitted and matriculate, your entire course of study will be study abroad (in Hong Kong). Engineering majors there are accredited by HKIE, which has a mutual recognition agreement with ABET.

http://www.abet.org/recognized-by-washington-accord/</a>
http://www.hkie.org.hk/eng/html/qualNmembership/progaccredlist.asp</a></p>

Other universities in Hong Kong also offer HKIE engineering degree programs. Costs for international students appear comparable to in-state public university costs in many US states.

Other universities in other parts of the world may also be affordable ways of studying engineering abroad.
