<p>My major is going to be mechanical engineering technology. I'm hearing that some employers are prefering this as apposed to the standard engineering degrees. The BET is more practically oriented and applied. As for the cirriculum, the only difference I have seen is the exculsion of Calculus III, and differential equations, and there is 'applied' thermodynamics/fluid mechanics, etc.</p>
<p>I'm just wondering if anyone has any experiences on the differences between the two, after college.</p>
