Engineering: Theme parks

It's an actual major at Long Beach State. Would you be limited to working for theme parks with this major?

Would it be similar to structural Engineering? or Mechanical Engineering?

I assume that it would be a mixture of both with a real emphasis on theme park rides/etc. Even so, I would think that you would still get the basic mechanical/structural education.

My understanding is that it is a mixture of civil (incuding structural), mechanical and electrical engineering. My sense is you would be better off when it comes to seeking employment upon graduation to pursue one of the more traditional areas of engineering as recruiters may perceive the concentration in theme parks as a limiting factor.

I go with Mechanical Engineering.

i think all types of eng. majors can work in theme parks.
i guess.
