Engineering Transfer Sophmore Student

Hello guys, I am currently going into my sophomore year in college for engineering, and I am looking to apply to trasnfer by the end of this year. I was aiming high but I had a really terrible spring semester due to personal problems but also because i didnt handle the workload properly. My gpa will hopefully be around a 3.4 if i keep all A’s and B’s by the end of this semester. I am looking to do Mechanical Engnieering, and am taking all the classes required thus far. I have math done up to Linear Algebra and differential equations, I am taking mechanics and Physics 2 and took C++ programming, and all the extra classes that are asked for. I would really love any advice as I am really nervous, as I was aiming for Cornell Engineering but I have accepted that I wont be able to make it due to only my gpa, so any recommendations for great engineering schools on the northeast side would be wonderful that would take someone with a 3.4 gpa. I have also done alot of internships so my resume is solid. THANK YOU TO ANYONE WHO REPLIES!
