engineering transfers

I am trying to transfer in civil engineering, 2.96 gpa, ge done, golden four done, 90 transferrable units. has anyone heard back about engineering or does anyone know if it is difficult to get into an engineering program at sdsu.

I'm still waiting too. I also applied as a civil engineering transfer. GPA is 3.4 with the golden 4 done. However, I am missing 3 pre-reqs out of the 9 that was available at my college. I think you got a better chance than me. Just got rejected from slo so i'm worried.

I got in last week, mechanical eng. I didn't get into slo either (drat!). I didn't know many engineering transfers wanted to go to sdsu. I just applied for the heck of it. As far as I know, sjsu/slo/pomona>sdsu for engineering.
Where else are you considering going?

Yeah, these people seem to confirm what I thought. But, I think SDSU would be most appealing outside of engineering program rankings/reputation. It looks like a pretty neat place to go to school.

Does it really matter where you get your engineering degree from? I just want to move to SD lol. I love the weather and the city. I also have a great time whenever i visit my friends/relatives over there.

themediocre - what was your gpa and how many pre reqs did you complete? if u don't mind sharing

3.34gpa, missing 1 pre-req
