<p>I would like some input from UMiami engineering grads and students about the quality of the program, recruitment on campus, and ultimate job placement. Penn St. seems to have the whole package for engineering students but my son would like to be able to justify selecting UMiami.</p>

<p>During the parent session at the Stamps weekend, I believe they said all the engineering graduates had a job prior to graduation. I can’t remember exactly what they said but it seemed to be the norm every year. They were pretty proud of the employment situation. If another parent who was at the session, can recall exactly what was said, please post.</p>
<p>During our tour they said that the engineering school has had a 100% job placement rate (or grad school) over the past few years</p>
<p>We recently met with the Chair of the BME dept. I may be able to answer some questions about that… What he told us about undergrad research and job opportunities was really impressive.</p>
