engineering universities for gpa 3.2, sat 1800

Hi,

I would like to know the universities for engineering- biomedical/electrical. I have sat score of 1800 and gpa of 3.2.

Iowa State and Suny Buffalo.

University of Rhode Island

Harvard Lol!

Probably your state school.

What state are you in? I second ken285’s suggestion.

What state do you live in? If you live in California there is Cal Poly SLO which I believe has one of the top 10 engineering programs in the nation. I hear Cal Poly Pomona is up there too.

i live in Jordan. I would apply as an international student. i dont need financial aid. i took 3 ap’s last year ap bio-4, ap phy 3, ap eng-3. now i am taking ap chem and ap calculus ab. my gpa was 3.78 the last 2 quarters and i intend to keep it that way now in 12th grade also. i will be repeating SAT and my ACT was 27, which i am repeating as well.

please suggest universities for me.

I got into RPI, WPI, RIT, and probably would of gotten into Stevens Tech if I didn’t take myself off the waiting list. My GPA was lower than yours, but my SAT score was 10 points higher. So, give it a shot, you might get in. The fact that you don’t need financial aid is a plus. I also didn’t need aid.

ASU, University of Arizona, UMass Amherst, Rutgers, Texas A&M, Michigan State

Thanks. i feel better now. i have been living all over the world (almost) travelling with my dad. first africa - 7 yrs then singapore, then india and israel and now jordan. this has been quite a journey. but i studies throughout in the american international schools.
i really want to do well. i have to give safety, match and reach list to my councelor. also i am thinking about topics for essays. i like this thread.

purdue

im surprised no one mentioned this

i was gonna say purdue

I just read that in some Universities in California they only look at the 11th and 12th grade marks to calculate the GPA. Please could you tell me some more universities that look at 11th and 12th grade? What is the normal practice?

Another for Purdue. Quite the lenient admissions policies they have.

Or just whatever your state school is.
