I want to become an entrepreneur with knowledge and skills in engineering, I heard that engineering is theoretical and that engineering tech is applied knowledge, but I don’t know which one will be better to help me build a business or invent things with. I’m interested in robotics, green energy, and advanced electrical tech- that sort of thing. I plan on getting an business MBA after undergrad.
You should really post this under the Engineering forum but no, Engineering is not just theoretical. There is plenty of applied material in Engineering. The difference is that if you want a career as an Engineering then you have to study Engineering not Engineering Tech.
