Engineering

Hi I am doing currently for subjects in 12th grade.I have already been accepted at penn state.
I am doing MATH,BIOLOGY,CHEM,PHY.

My major is biomed eng.I got accepted to college of engineering
Is it possible for me to drop one of these subjects, and take only standard level/AS(Yes I am doing AS level) ?

helllo anyone?

I’ll give it a try. Math and Physics, of course, are critical for ENGR, so I would want to have the strongest background in those possible.

Option 1 - Unless you are going to do some sort of biological engineering, I would say that Biology would be the one to drop down a level.

Option 2 - Unless you are going to do chemical engineering, you could drop down a level in Chem. Note that all freshmen have to take Chemistry.

Another thought-- Is this your first chemistry class? My son managed to place out of chemistry with just one year of HS chem (not AP). He took it junior year and then reviewed (minimally, he just squeaked through) with an AP study guide before he took the placement test at Penn State. (He gets credit for the freshman chem class, but no grade figured into his PSU GPA.) If you keep the chem class you may be able to do the same.

I want to do bioengineering.
So is there anyway way,i can do standard level of physics, and high of math, bio, chem?
