hey, so im intrested in becomming a chemical engineer and i hear penn state has a good engineering program. I applied, however i wasn't admitted into the engineering program but rather as an undecided major. Is it worth it to still go to pennstate? how hard is it to switch over to engineering once in the school?

Its not dificult at all. You can still take all of the entrance to major requirements, because no students declare a major (i.e. be accepted into it) untill second semester sophomore year. I entered as undecided (DUS) and graduated with a degree from the Smeal College of Business.
