<p>He applied and was accepted EDI. He is totally sure about Swarthmore. He considered other programs that would allow him to do both engineering and liberal arts -- several with engineering majors and several with joint degree programs. Swarthmore was the perfect combination of all of this for him. (Plus, he really likes Swarthmore, in general). I am just curious about what the other engineering students do to make as much room as possible for non-engineering interests, without overextending themselves. There are so many interesting courses there.</p>
