I was just wondering, does Brown have different criteria or a different admissions path for students who have said they want to study engineering? Does a separate committee read their why engineering essays? Or do they not look at your concentration during acceptance? I am wondering because due to some personal issues junior year, I received a B in physics, and this year I think I might be getting a B in calculus bc (due to my own laziness, which I am now greatly regretting)
I am guessing that will not look great as an engineering applicant. Will it be more beneficial to only have biology or chemistry as my intended major choices since I have A’s in both? (right now I have chemical engineering as my second choice, and biology as my first). Also I am not sure I want to study engineering (which is why it’s my choice after bio).
Btw, I have all my other science and math classes are A’s and I’m a girl
thanks for the help!
