Engineering...

Well I have a few questions:
1. Is Cornell considered the "science" ivy?
2. How is the work load for people double majoring in ChemE and Science of Earth systems (I am interested in Alternative resources and feel these two would be a strong combination)? Perhaps in average hours per day.

I understand Cornell is a tough school but I want to see what I am getting my self into when I choose my major (trying to decide if I should be on the Track team as well).
Thanks

I don't attend Cornell yet but from what I've seen on CC, Cornell is generally considered to have the best engineering program in the ivy league.

Again I don't know much about this from personal experience but I asked a similar question a while ago on this forum and people advised me to avoid double majoring in anything unless I was willing to entertain thoughts of suicide on an almost daily basis :P. Apparently doing 1 engineering major itself is extremely time-consuming.
