I am considering majoring in an engineering discipline, most likely Chemical Engineering. I am having trouble finding easy info on this type of thing, but I want to know, if I were to graduate with a BS in ChemE, where would I expect to work, or where would I likely find myself? If there are many places where could that be.

I am interested in the research aspect of things, not so much monitoring stuff in a plant or factory or something, and I want to know if that type of job is readily available for grads in ChemE.

No need for a duplicate post. Have some patience, ChemE’s are not on here just waiting for you to post. When one come’s around, I am sure they will answer.

Not sure why it did that. Must have lagged out when posting the thread, I most certainly did not purposely create two threads. Perhaps someone who is able to can delete the other one?

No problem. I can’t help first hand because I do IE, but I would go to engineerjobs (dot) com and chose chemE and then entry level and look at the jobs available to see if you like the job descriptions of them.
