Engineers!!!!

Who here applied (ED or RD) for engineering and which type? Do you know if its MIT tough to get in for engineering?

I applied for chemical engineering - i wish they had biomedical though.

why did you apply if they didn't have what you wanted???

Wellllllll, I keep flipping back and forth between chemical and biomedical engineering - right now I'm in my biomedical phase (cause i want to be a doctor) both disciplines seem REALLY fun and REALLY cool - for a dork like me :)

Did you apply for engineering?

Yeah, for computer science (ED, deferred)

OK, that sounds more reasonable.. I'm not sure what biomedical engineering is like, but you could probably "approximate" the biomedical experience by taking more biology-related subjects

i applied cheme, deferred ed, a friend got in ed for mechanical. i hear princeton engineering is more theoretical than at mit, but pton is still up there.

i applied RD Computer Science

Well, i did a lot of reading on the P-ton website about their engineering and it made it sound as if cheme was very similar to biomed (in SOME, not a LOT) of aspects. No matter what, i'm still going to be a mad scientist is college ;)

lol, i applied RD for chemical engineering, ive heard u ahve to like chem A LOT to like cheme
