Hi Guys,
I am a student at Pasadena City College. I took English 1A (16 weeks online) in the fall and for the coming Spring semester, I have to choose one class from the Critical Thinking/English Composition area from my GE requirements. I will choose for 8 weeks of online class of either English 001C or Philosophy 025. Which one would you recommend? Thank you.

For IGETC, either English 1C or Philosophy 25 counts for Area 1B (Critical Thinking/English Composition)
For UC, either counts as a UC-E course for fulfilling transfer admission requirements.
For CSU, either counts for Area A3 of CSU general education (critical thinking).
However, if you do not fulfill IGETC before transfer, you may have to check if each course fulfills the specific English composition course requirement at the UC or CSU that you transfer to.
If they have the same applicability to admission and graduation requirements, then choose whichever looks more interesting to you.
