<p>It depends on you more than the class. Great Books has a lot of reading. It’s more work but can be more interesting if you have a good discussion group. Lectures can be excruciatingly boring.</p>
<p>I think there some other alternatives to Eng 125 but I’m not sure what they are.</p>
<p>take 125, you dont have to read anything (except for a few minor articles). you just write papers. and my prof gave us a lot of freedom in terms of what topic you wrote, which was great).</p>
<p>yeah I think I’ll settle with 125, people say its nice. And I just checked the course guide, greatbooks 191 isn’t even offered next term :O</p>
