Which class is the easiest for 1b? I heard Scandanavian is pretty easy, is it manageable in the summer....(this is someone who absolutely SUCK at english and writing) =P

My friend heard that German R5B was cake, but is in it and knows there is a lot of reading. I think it varies widely, most centrally on the person (usually GSI) teaching the class. Scandanavian might be on the easier side of the requirement, though. Why don't you read the reading-lists of the various classes and see which contain what you consider to be the easiest books, maybe towards the lower end of overall total pages you have to read, and something that you find interesting.

I'm guessing that English N1B is the easiest.

It is only 3 units, after all, as opposed to the usual 4.

Perhaps. The English department is usually intense, but because it's three units, perhaps it's significantly less work (than a four unit R1B class). Why's it called "N1B?" What does the "N" signify?
