<p>the first year writing and seminar are small classes ususally topped out at 18 students. Frist year seminar are offered in various subject areas and you choose your top 3 choices for seminiar. The seminiars change each term . The fall FYS are :</p>
<p>As in most schools english is a very popular major. At Dartmouth you have the choice of doing a major, a modified major or a minor in english.</p>

<p>The Department offers over fifty lecture courses on an extremely wide variety of subjects, times and places. In fact, the program provides one of the greatest and most diverse selections of courses at Dartmouth.</p>
