<p>Since she doesn’t have formal training, I’m not sure if she wants to just be at a school where she can take some Music Appreciation courses and enjoy various musical performances (symphonies, jazz, ensembles, whatever) or she wants to somehow minor in music without actually playing an instrument.</p>
<p>Can you minor in Music without a “performance” element?</p>
