I'm going to be a college sophomore in the fall, and am debating changing my major. I'm currently an adolescent ed/earth science major, which I only chose because at the time, school was really all I knew. Now I'm looking at going into book editing/publishing, and have done research and it looks like English would be the best major for this. I also want to take classes in communications, because I think that this would just help in general. Now I'm just debating whether I should do a major in English and 2 minors--one in communications, and one in linguistics (grammar and whatnot...I think it'll also help) or should I do a double major in English/Communications and a minor in Linguistics?
Any opinions/suggestions? Thanks!

Book publishing is changing rapidly with the rise of digital media. In addition to English and communications majors, consider business and digital media/computers/informatics minors.
