<p>How strong is the program? Is most of the college's undergraduate emphasis on the sciences (bio / chem / engineering particularly) or are its humanities on-par with its other, more renowned programs?</p>

<p>English is a top five program nationally. Check the rankings and surveys, especially Gourman Report. Cornell is as well known for the humanities as the sciences.</p>
