Hey ya’ll, I’m looking into Pomona College, Pitzer, and Colorado College as a prospective English Major with a Creative Writing emphasis… advice as to which of these has the best program? Other schools I should be looking at?
Kenyon has a strong writing program, as do the University of Iowa, UVA, Emory, Brown, Wash U. and a whole host of other schools. What are your stats? Where do you live? What part of the country do you want to live in? Are finances a concern?

Pitzer from your group would also be excellent for English. I’d recommend you research the renowned English department of Kenyon as well.
Some I know first-hand:
Johns Hopkins
Hampshire
Oberlin
Stanford (the creative non-fiction program is remarkable)
Williams
