English "Deficiency"

Okay... so I'm applying to some of the most selective colleges very soon, and I was wondering something:

Will the fact that Chinese is the first language I learned and the language spoken at home (they never asked which language was my best, which probably might be English) help cover for my slightly lower language scores? (680 CR, 710 writing compared with 750+ for math and every SAT II taken)

For those of you who have read my earlier thread. Yes, I am paranoid, and I have the white hairs on my 17 year old head to prove it (actually, they're genetic... =P).

If you're applying to places like HPYS, I doubt that the fact that English is your second language will compensate for your lower cr scores. That's because there are many native Asians who have 800 math scores, sky high SAT II scores and also have English scores in the mid 700s.
