My sons 15 ,14 and 11 want to learn better english in the US during the summer 2007. anybody knows about supper programs in boardingschools?
Willy from France

there is a program specifically for esl students at Johns hopkins...good luck!

Concordia Language Villages has an English Immersion program called Hometown USA in Minnesota and Hometown Europe in Switzerland

They could go together.

thank you
What about boarding school summer programs?

Check out Andover (Phillips Academy), Taft and Choate for the two oldest. Exeter is not as fun. Maybe Cate, Thacher or Ojai on the west coast have ESL programs. Maybe Concordia for the 11 year old or forget the classroom experience; just send him to Camp Kieve or Robin Hood in Maine or Pemigewasset (Camp Pemi) in New Hampshire for a fun-filled immersion program. Those three camps fill up very fast and have waitlists, so act fast.

I applied to Andover Summer Session. It seems great.

thank you for your ideas!
