I was initially applying to all English Literature courses, but recently the Psychoanalytic Studies BA at University of Essex caught my eye, especially how unique it is. My personal statement, which I have a lot of confidence in, is written entirely for English Literature. If I apply to Essex for this course, should I rewrite my PS?
You can’t. Ucas only let’s you upload one statement. You just have to hope they’ll like what they see.
(However it doesn’t sound like a very legit degree… A complementary one, sure, but primary… Not so much.)

You’re running the risk of making your PS (and yourself) look unfocussed, which could threaten your chances on the English courses.
