For any english majors or something of the like... what do you want to be when you grow up? I LOVE english- reading it, discussing it, writing it, anything. It just seems like all the careers there are are geared towards math and science. I'm not into teaching so what could I actually do with an english major?

You can work @ starbucks.

No, seriously you can get into journalism, advertising, or in some cases business. People always say do what you love and I totally agree, but its bet to find a balance between something you love and something you can make a decent living doing.

Maybe your love for, reading, writing and discussing topics could be applied to another field -- or become an english teacher. Why not try shadowing a teacher, become a student assistant? It may change your mind about teaching.
