<p>Ok I'm kinda lost so any help is welcomed.
I took the English Language AP in junior year and got a 3. This year I took the English Literature and the scores are not released yet. But I read on the SB site that getting a 3 on any of the AP english places you into WRT102. Is that still true?
because I filled out the adivsing planning form and they said they did not recieve my ap grades yet. so i filled in my grades on the form. do i still have to send them in and if yes how do i send in scores or do i bring in a copy during orientation?
and today i got an email saying that i according to a review of my advising form im in WRT 101 and should take the writing placement before orientation. so im kind of confused..i thought i didnt have to take it bc of my ap grade.
Someone help!</p>
<p>I think they may have sent that e-mail to everyone because I already took the writing placement and received that e-mail today as well...
It says this in regards to sending the scores:
"Please mail an official copy of your AP score report to: Transfer Office, Stony Brook University, 134 Administration, Stony Brook, NY 11794-1909. You can obtain the report by calling ETS at (609) 771-7300."</p>
<p>We might not have your AP scores yet. If you have the AP and you're waived out of 101, you have the option of taking the exam and placing into 103, which is basically an honors section of 102. If you decide not to take the exam, you'll automatically be placed into 102 -- provided we have your AP exam score before Orientation.</p>
<p>E-mail me, or call in the morning with your information, and I'll let you know what we have on file for you.</p>
