<p>DD added Purdue to the list of schools to see on our upcoming college tour trip. Is is a good school for English? Or was she just hearing buzz about it from her friends who will be majoring in engineering? Thanks!</p>
<p>Purdue is probably not very good at anything related to English or Fine Arts.
If you’re looking for an in-state Indiana option, Indiana University-Bloomington is probably going to beat Purdue in everything in that subject area. </p>
<p>Thanks for the input. I had seen Indiana-Bloomington come up on a few English lists. (I think Purdue also got in her head because she uses their OWL site so much with writing/research.) We’re not tied to an Indiana school, we just happen to pass through on our way home from Chicago. Maybe we’ll still stop by to see Purdue, then she can get a feel of what a lesser-fit school is like to compare with the others she’ll see. </p>
