<p>I am really really bad at these sections and have no idea why. I always think I do decent but I end up doing horribly. English - 21. Reading - 22. Can anyone help me out here? Science and Math come to me extremely easily.</p>
<p>i might have this problem too. can u study for the act english like u can for the sat writing? are princeton review practice tests any good?</p>
<p>well the Princeton review raised my score from a 21 to 29 in English. i recommend it. </p>
<p>anyway, what type of strategy are you guys using for reading?
i usually score 29-32 on it and this is my strategy:
read question (44sec)
skim the passage (3min)
answer question (remainder of the time)</p>
<p>English: i believe all it takes is experience with a lot of tests. You'll start to see a pattern to the English test because it usually covers the same materials over and over again.</p>
