I need to get a rec from an english teacher. The problem is that I don't have an english teacher that I know well. So should I-
1) Ask my 9th grade english teacher, who probably don't remember my name
2) Ask my 11th grade english teacher, who came at the end of last year and taught me for a month
3) Ask my current english teacher, who has taught me for a little more than a month but probably don't even know my name?
(My 10th grade and first 11th grade english teacher left)

Most schools explicitly tell you to ask an 11th or 12th grade teacher. Try to find a way to email last years teacher (the one who left), a department head/another teacher in the department should have a way to contact them. Most teachers are willing to write a few even if they have since left the school…

^ Thanks. I will see if I can contact them.

Well, I also have a scholarship thing that an English teacher need to fill out. I can’t mail the form to a previous teacher since there won’t be enough time. So I am really down to those three teachers. Which teacher should I ask?
