Hellooooooooooo
I'm Toni, I'm 20, and i'm in my second year at Kent University at canterbury, which is on the south coast! I've been accepted to study for a year at Indiana at Bloomington and I've got no clue which halls to apply for and what modules to study!
I met a transfer student from your uni ,and she said the most important thing is to get into a decent college, or housing college. I cant remember.
But.... I'm a complete party girl although i do work hard too, and i'm into my sports (i dont know if you play netball over there but I play lacrosse too so hopefully i can play that!) so are student arranged in housing based on their interests? or are there just some housing sections which are more into these things than others?
So if i could get some advice on that, it would be much appreciated.
Also, over here i study drama and theatre studies, and am in my second year of a four year course, the thrid year which i'm studying at inidiana. Are there any drama students out there who know which modules are best? and what modules are availible?

Any other info you think would be useful would be amazing!!!

Generally, the Northwest and Central neighborhoods are slightly better than the Southeast. Central is closest to the Drama School, but Northwest is the party neighborhood--especially the McNutt dorm. (this is where my son is living while he is at IU--and he's already renewed his housing contract there for next year)

Wilkie has a Drama Rehearsal Hall--but I don't suggest you move there, since it is the farthest from the campus and is known for having a "cave" atmosphere. There is also an "International Wing" in the Foster dorm--and the Collins Living Learning Center is nice, but very quiet (studious?) and the opposite side of campus from the drama department.

Here is a link for pictures of the campus, including the Drama Center. The school has the largest student union in the United States, and its tower (Memorial Tower) is designed after the towers at Oxford in England.

I second damnitsam. The northwest party dorms are only for freshmen. if you don't mind being completely around freshmen, you could try northwest anyways.
