Does anyone live a life like this on CC?

  • Wake Up
  • Work/Eat
  • Sleep

Now, this can either be an everyday thing or only on certain days.

EVERYONE has days like that.

Try parenting:

  • get up
  • get ready for work
  • get your kids ready for school
  • make sure your kids are off to school; on the bus or in the car
  • go to work
  • get home from work
  • get dinner on the table
  • do the dishes
  • make sure the kids' homework is done
  • make sure the kids have rides to wherever they need to be and rides home.
  • make sure whatever work you need to get done for your job is done
  • oh, yeah.... make sure there's clean laundry, so everyone has clean clothes for tomorrow
  • make sure the bills are paid
  • make sure there's bread and milk in the house for tomorrow
  • make sure the dog has been fed and has clean water
  • make sure the yard is picked up after the dog
  • try to check in with mom once in a while to make sure she's OK.

Trust me. I love my life but what you’re describing is NOT a CC issue or a college issue. It’s a “life in this time” issue.

^Yeah, when my 20-year-old tells me how stressed she is, it’s really hard for me to hold my tongue and not say, “Wait until you have FIVE people you’re responsible for!!”
