Anywhere between 1 and 3 months is enough to study for the LSAT. I self-studied for one month, as did the boyfriend (who got into a T-5 program) and I do not regret it. Buy the old practice exams off the LSAC website and the Logic Games Bible. If you are inclined, also purchase the Logic Reasoning Bible. Do a couple hours of work a day (2-3) and you will improve dramatically. I will admit that I began to enjoy the LR sections of the exam soon after I began studying.
