Hi, I'm currently a junior at a public in-state school. W&M is my dream college! This year, I have decided to take AP Lang, AP Micro/Macro, AP Physics, Honors Pre-Calc, Honors History, and German 4. I'm on the fence about AP Physics 1. It is a difficult course for me, and the teacher even told the class we would be lucky to get a B. I plan to study business, so I'm unsure if it will be worth the hard work. If I switch out of AP Physics into regular physics, will I still have the rigor that W&M looks for?

You’ll be fine if you switch into regular physics. I took almost the exact schedule my junior year except with spanish 4 and orchestra. That schedule helped me get in so no worries just study hard and get involved!

With regular physics that’s still a challenging junior year schedule. There will be time in senior year to consider/explore an AP science (and if you end up doing well in regular physics you could move on to AP Physics next year).
