I guess I'll start the random awesome things, because I've lived 5 mins off Princeton campus for 11 years of my life:
1. Chuck's Spring Street Cafe, seriously the best buffalo wings you'll find ANYWHERE. And on top of that, it was bought by twin brothers. These weren't ordinary brothers, they were really rich brothers who went to Princeton. How did they become so rich? Well, they murdered their parents for the inheritance. One of the first things they did was buy Chuck's from the original owner, who was named Chuck, go figure. As it turns out, the police did eventually turn up enough evidence to convict them, and the inheritance was taken away and Chuck's was given back to Chuck.

aparent5- thanks! :)

OMG that's crazy! lol

but hey anonymou5, taking advantage of the fact that you live right there, could you tell me about the music scene in or near Princeton

Theres a scene for people who want to get together with a few other friends and start a band. There are many opportunities for that, and the Princeton Record Exchange is a good place to find obscure albums. As for large classical conservatories, I'm not sure exactly what the scene is, its not distinguished but i dont think its nonexistent. For large concerts, the university has trouble attracting big-name artists because it doesn't allow non-Princeton students into the concerts, and so the artists want to be compensated by bigger fees which the university isn't willing to pay. I think though that Snoop Dogg performed a couple years ago.
