Enough second semester credits?

I'm working on several transfer applications at the moment. I'm a freshman at a small liberal arts state schools, and in my first semester I took:

HHP 102 - Health and Wellness
CSCI 201 - Intro to Programming (Java)
MATH 240 - Calculus I
GERM 102 - Beginning German I
COMM 110 - Intro to Communications

This semester I was taking:

ENGL 332 - American Literary Periods (Modernist Poetry)
BIOL 130 - Principles of Biology I
MATH 241 - Calculus II
MATH 310 - Intro to Abstract Math
RUSS 1102 - Beginning Russian II

... but decided to drop BIOL last week. I decided to drop it because it's a course for majors, and I'm not a major or minor, and it was 3x the amount of work that any of my other classes were. Once my other classes started demanding things from me, it was ridiculous for me to spend all night reading/studying/working for biology when I could've been strengthening my understanding in math or English, my major and minor. So, I went from 18 credits to 14 credits. Is this okay for transfers? Will schools look at my four-course workload and scoff?

fourteen isnt so bad.....twelve and thirteen is what you should be concerned with

It shouldn't be the end of the world. I'm sure they realize there is really no reason for you to be taking a biology class if it isn't your major. At least you can pity us science majors who are doing 18 credits with all classes like that :-p
