Is it reasonable to get from Wilson Hall to Campbell Hall in fifteen minutes? (At 11-ish?)

Also, McLeod to Wilson in 10 min?

Is it reasonable to get from Wilson Hall to Campbell Hall in fifteen minutes? (At 11-ish?)

Also, McLeod to Wilson in 10 min?

McLeod to Wilson in 10 minutes easily.

Wilson to the A-School you can do in 15 minutes, but you'll have to walk fast!

How about Physics building near McCormick dorms to Cabell Hall in 15 minutes? I mean ive done it before but i dont remember how long it takes.

and what about from clark to ruffner and ruffner to wilson in 10 mins?
gosh I have 3 classes stuck together with only 10 mins for me to run after each

jesus, you all are ridiculous. like i said before - unless you're going from the A school or Nschool to central grounds, 10 minutes is enough. (the biggest stretch would be 10 minutes from wilson to gilbert)

floatingillusion....wilson to campbell hall (in 15mins) is REALLY pushing it, be careful with that one.

(Sorry for more another Campbell question -- Campbell to Chem by some magic hidden short-cut in fifteen minutes??) I almost wish I stuck with my original (albeit crappy) schedule because at least I had a better sense of timing/distance! :/

i know i know..most should b okay in only 10 min but i just had to make sure (sorry for the repittion)..

CAB to GIL in 10 min??

CHM to MIN in 10 min??

oh yeah and can people also tell me wat theses abbreviations stand for I still don't know and prob utterly lost on day 1

Yeah, going from Cabell to Gilmer is possible as is going from the Chemistry bldg. to Minor in ten minutes.

floatingillusion,
it is impossible to get from campbell to chem in ten minutes, maybe on a bike, but not walking.

ummmm..-- thanks thats good to know considering I have to make that trip every M,W, and F. but after looking at a map it seems like a close call considering campbell to chem would be a stretch at 15 and cabell and minor are in the general vicinity as campbell..

Is Wilson to Campbell in 15 minutes every tues., and thurs. worth it? I just got off the wait list for this art class I really wanted to take, but now I'd have to run to wilson to campbell every tues & thurs...

professors understand if there's a long walk... if you're going TO art then it's somewhat less important to get there right on time as there's no lecture (my roommate is an art major and sometimes she just stays and works on her art in her room, but on the other hand she stays really late at night working all day sometimes - it's all about the product). if you're coming FROM art it sounds like a less-okay idea (art cleanup, etc). but like i said profs understand.

Physics building near McCormick dorms to Cabell Hall in 15 minutes

I live in Old Dorms and it takes me about 8-9 minutes to get to Cabell and I walk SLOW. Like, you know people leisurely taking their time and holding up everyone else? that's me. ;)

clark to ruffner and ruffner to wilson in 10 mins

clark to ruffner you can easily do. Cut behind Brown and go across the bridge. ruffner to wilson might take you somewhere between 4-7 minutes, depending on your walking time.

CAB to GIL in 10 min??

CHM to MIN in 10 min??
[/quote]

CAB=old cabell hall
GIL= gilmer
MIN = minor
CHM =chem building (right next to gilmer)

If you click on the abbreviation in the COD, it will tell you what the buiiding acronym stands for. cabell to gilmer takes me like 8 min (again, I go slow); it's easier since the trip is downhill. chem to minor you can easily do in 10.

Now my question. Where the hell is McCloud? I tried looking it up on the UVa maps thing, but it's not there.And for anyone who needs the map,

U.Va. Map : WebMap

it's spelled mcleod i think

McLeod Hall is the nursing school and its somewhat close to student health. I think the best way to get there by foot if you are on central grounds would be to exit at the first floor of cabell and take the ramp down to the bus stop. cross the street (to the south lawn construction side) and keep walking down towards student health. i think you need to cross the spanish house and then turn right and the building across the street from you will be McLeod hall. I think.
Otherwise, maybe you could take a bus if that's your first class of the day.

On the syllabus for the class I'm taking, it says McCloud 2008 or whatever for the building and room number. But on the COD, when I clicked the MCL, it took me to the McLeod Hall page. When I asked my RA before break, she said that MCL is not mcleod but mccloud. So I'm thoroughly confused lol. Is McCloud in McLeod by chance?

well, actually McLeod is pronounced McCloud - so i think that is why your RA said MCL was McCloud not McLeod (assuming she pronounced it and didnt spell it that way). I am not sure why the syllabus for your class says McCloud. Also, McLeod is one of the buildings with 4 digits to denote building numbers instead of three. so 2008 would be 8 on second floor...

Where the heck is Wilson?
-The engineer

wilson is right next to cabell. If you're coming from the Lawn, then it's on the left side of Cabell.
U.Va. Map : Central Grounds

Building 42, Square 5C.
